Testimonials
"Winter Orchard Graphics presented options right out of the gate for Perry Life Support Systems which were attractive and fit the culture of the organization. Eric vanBok provided excellent, honest and timely feedback to requests that were made throughout the creation process and even when we made last minute requests to launch certain aspects of the site, he remained courteous and engaged. Eric is a natural educator and helped to provide the tools necessary to continue to create and write after the foundation was established. The entire experience with Winter Orchard Graphics was great and I would recommend their web design services to any organization looking for a 'partner' no matter how small or large the organization." - John S Peters, MBA, FACHE Executive VP Business Development Perry Life Support Systems
"Winter Orchard Graphic Design took my ideas and quickly designed and built a professional website for my business. I couldn't be happier!" - Joe Jose Linekin Bay Woodworkers
"I did not want a traditional web site. I had my own ideas of how an artistic site should look. Winter Orchard Graphic Design made my vision a reality. It looks exactly as I wanted it. As requested, it also has no flash and is easy to edit plus it was done quick."

Photo Retouching

We do all kinds of retouching work with pictures. Everything from a simple clean-up to a “glamour-type” of photo for portraits, to an all-out manipulation of the picture- like something you might see in a magazine. We also do color correction, can sharpen photos, and turn color photos to black and white or even sepia tone. If you want something specifically done, ask us. We can probably do it.
Pulled dancer out of original background. Smoothed skin on face, neck and body, created shadow and then composite background from other stock photos and added titles for her brochure.

Pulled dancer out of original background. Smoothed skin on face and softened shadows on face and body. So that it appeared that she had more costumes, the whole color of her costume was changed from red to burgundy-purple. The toes of her foot at the bottom of the picture were painted in and titles were added for her brochure.

Created mysterious misty background. Sharpened original photo, redefined eyes, mouth, lips. Turned color photo to black and white and then re-colorized photo to shades of grey and pink to match brochure background. Painted in photo over misty background to give the effect of the photo coming out of the fog and painted in the shadow of the fingers in the hand on the curtain. Added titles.

This client had many photos that she wanted retouched for possible video covers.
The original photos were of very low quality, small size and taken from video stills.

The final is a composite between two pictures. I liked the camera position of the hands in one and the facial expression of the other. So I made a composite of both pictures, taking body, arms and hands from one and neck and head from the other. Both pictures were de-interlaced first then composited. Afterwards I smoothed the skin, de-emphasized shadows around the face and eyes, re-touched eyes, and then for fun elongated her and took off a few pounds.
